This handmade Victorian cameo pendant choker is a great day piece. Narrow dark brown goat suede lacing has been woven through the cream colored lace for a unique look. As the focal, I've centered a pretty, oxidized brass connector on the lace and dangling from it is a cameo within a brass setting.

Avoid using perfume and creams which will be in direct contact with your choker. Generally, cleaning should be a last resort - so wait until it is absolutely necessary. Do not dry clean. Dip a cloth in very mild, diluted detergent (the same type you use for delicate lingerie) dab the fabric gently, carefully avoid wetting any metal components and beads. Allow the choker to dry flat on a towel in a warm place. Never wring or scrub.
